AirAsia commences flights from 2nd hub at Senai Airport, Johor Bahru

AirAsia officially started its 2nd hub operations yesterday at the Senai Airport in Johor Bahru.

AirAsia currently operates two daily flights between Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur from RM 19.99 one way. Beginning today, AirAsia is scheduled to serve Senai Airport, Johor Bahru with two daily flights to Penang from RM 45.99 one way, two daily flights to Kuching from RM 49.99 one way, one daily flight to Langkawi from RM 49.99 one way and one daily flight to Kota Kinabalu from RM 89.99 one way. AirAsia will initially commence these operations with two aircraft based in Johor Bahru.

The new hub will also serve to connect AirAsia’s guests from Johor Bahru to its second regional destination, Bangkok, from February 2004 onwards. The seats for the Johor Bahru - Bangkok route start from RM 99.99 onwards. Bookings for these new routes are already open for sale. 

Also beginning today, AirAsia is introducing a new Kuching - Kota Kinabalu route with one daily flight from RM 49.99 one way.
