United launches San Francisco - Seoul, Korea service

United Airlines today launches a new daily nonstop service between San Francisco International Airport and Seoul Korea's Incheon International Airport.

"In addition to meeting growing demand in and out of Korea, this service will link United's hub and United's new Star Alliance partner Asiana Airlines, creating convenient connections and shortened travel times between many communities in the Americas and throughout Asia," said John Tague, Executive Vice President - Customer.

United flight #807 will depart San Francisco daily at noon and arrive in Seoul at 4:40PM the following day. The return flight, UA #808, will depart Seoul daily at 1:45PM and arrive in San Francisco at 8:20AM the same day. United will operate the flights with Boeing 777 aircraft configured for three classes of service with the carriers popular First Suite product in the first class cabin. The Boeing 777 aircraft is configured with 10 seats in United First, 49 seats in United Business and 216 seats in United Economy.

Korean-speaking flight attendants will be onboard each flight, and an ethnic meal service will be offered in all cabins. Korean-dubbed movies and other Korean-language audio entertainment will also be provided.
