Hertz offers travellers to New Zealand's South Island the ultimate 'Great Southern Experience'

Hertz is offering travellers to New Zealand's South Island the ultimate "Great Southern Experience", with extras ranging from free skiing to golf, scenic helicopter flights and even a therapeutic massage from AUD $95.42 (incl GST) per day.

The "Great Southern Experience" - based on a seven day rental - is available with most Hertz vehicle rentals until November 30, and includes a "skiierised vehicle", complete with ski/snowboard racks and snow chains plus vouchers to ski at any of 11 South Island snowfields and even treats from chocolate maker Cadbury.

The ski vouchers - one per day of vehicle rental - are valid for the Queenstown snowfields of Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, Treble Cone, Cardrona and Snow Farm, plus Mt Lyford, Mt Olympus, Mt Cheeseman, Porter Heights, Mt Hutt and Temple Basin, all accessible from Christchurch, and provide unlimited ski lift passes per day.

For those who choose not to spend all of their time skiing, Hertz and a range of tourism partners offer opportunities to redeem vouchers on activities such as guided fly fishing, scenic helicopter flights, a family pass to the Orana Wildlife Park near Christchurch, a therapeutic massage at Methven or Hanmer Springs, golf or a cruise to see the world's rarest dolphins, the Hector dolphins (also known as 'New Zealand dolphins') at Lyttelton Harbour, Christchurch.

And for those who want even more out of their holiday, Hertz offers discount vouchers for heli-skiing, hot air ballooning, wine trail touring, jet boating, bungy jumping and snowmobile adventures.
