Double Asia Miles for Dining in Asia Pacific

Cathay Pacific has announced that double miles can be earned at all Asia Miles partner restaurants in Asia Pacific between 01 May and 30 June 2003. There are over 100 partner restaurants across 10 cities including Hong Kong, Bangkok, Beijing, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta, Macau, Shanghai, Sydney and Taipei where Asia Miles members can earn free flights through dining.

Cathay Pacific General Manager Loyalty Programmes, Ron Mathison said: "Dining is one of the best ways to earn lots of Asia Miles and this Double Miles promotion means even more Asia Miles. You don't have to be a frequent flyer to earn free flights!"

With a spend of HK$800, members can earn 1,000 Asia Miles, that's 500 base miles, plus 500 bonus miles.

Earning Asia Miles is easy, members simply present their Asia Miles membership card when settling their restaurant bill. Members who pay with a partner credit card can also earn Asia Miles for the credit card spend. Furthermore, members can use the dining receipts to qualify for the "We Love HK" campaign which is an industry effort to help revive the economy.

Asia Miles a leading Travel Reward Programme has over 170 partners in 15 partner categories, airline partners include Aer Lingus, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Eastern Airlines, Dragonair, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Japan Asia Airways, LanChile, Qantas Airways, Swiss International Air Lines and Vietnam Airlines.

The 15 partner categories include airlines, financial services, hotels, telecommunications, petrol stations, car rental, tour operators, dining, media and entertainment, luggage and travel accessories, health and beauty, florists, wine merchants, insurance and internet.
