IHG appoints Ceri Ittensohn as Vice President Human Resources, Asia Pacific

InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Ms Ceri Ittensohn as Vice President Human Resources, Asia Pacific.

Reporting directly to Mr A. Patrick Imbardelli, Managing Director Asia Pacific, Ms Ittensohn will be responsible for developing and implementing key Human Resources initiatives across Asia Pacific and will also be working closely with the management team to drive change management support.

Prior to this promotion, Ms Ittensohn was Director of Training & Human Resource Development, Asia Pacific. She is taking on the new portfolio from Mr John Cameron, who has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Europe, Middle East and Africa, based in London.

Ms Ittensohn has made significant contributions to the InterContinental Hotels Group with her wealth of professional knowledge and in-depth industry experience in Human Resources. She was pivotal in implementing the Quality Leadership Programme within the Group as well as providing quality organisation development and employee enhancement programmes in Asia Pacific.

She previously also headed Human Resources for the SPHC group, which was acquired by InterContinental Hotels Group (then Six Continents Hotels) in 2000. During her 13 years at SPHC, she held several senior managerial positions in various human resources functions, developing innovative strategies to support the group's business objectives.

Ms Ittensohn is based in Singapore.
