Air Mauritius to resume flights to Asia

Air Mauritius has announced it is to resume its Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur services, due to an increase in demand following the SARS outbreak in Asia. The airline had cancelled the flights 1 April 2003.

The non-stop flight using an A340 - 300 from the beautiful island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean to Hong Kong will re-commence 20 August 2003. Initially the airline will offer one flight per week and will double this before the end of October to two flights a week.

Flight MK 644 departs Mauritius Wednesday at 22:15pm arriving in Hong Kong Thursday 12:15. The return leg, MK 645, departs Hong Kong Thursday at 14:40 arriving in Mauritius at 20:50.

Air Mauritius flights to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur will resume twice weekly from 02 August 2003.
