JW Marriott Bangkok adds wireless and wire line broadband in meeting rooms

Travel News Asia 12 June 2003

JW Marriott Bangkok has recently completed installing wireless and wire line broadband Internet access in all meeting rooms throughout the hotel. This follows the completion of the ultra fast ‘plug & play’ Internet access in all guestrooms in January this year.

The same technology available in the guestrooms applies for the wireless and wire line broadband access in the meeting rooms. This service allows meeting attendees at JW Marriott to access the Internet and connect to the world while in the third floor Ballroom and adjacent meetings room.

For wireless usage - just open your laptop, connect the wireless lan card, launch the browser, and you are online! Wireless lan card packages are available at the JW Marriott’s Business Center.

The daily charges for broadband Internet access are based on the number of simultaneous access points required in a given meeting room. As single user is Baht 1,000 per day, while 2-6 users will be Baht 3,000. Seven to 12 simultaneous users in a meeting room will be Baht 5,000. All prices are subject to VAT.
