The second largest travel trade show in the world after the ITB in Berlin. The World Travel Market, more commonly known as the WTM, takes place annually in London, during the month of November. The show attracts thousands of trade visitors from around the globe as well as a good number of students on the last two days. It is regarded by many as a must-attend for anyone within the travel industry.

Nearly 50,000 travel professionals, senior management, buyers and opinion formers from regions, countries and industry sectors throughout the world are expected to attend this year’s World Travel Market at ExCeL, London.

Unfortunately, attending trade shows can be a very expensive experience, flights, accommodation and time away from the office are all factors when deciding which shows to visit and/or exhibit at. As the World Travel Market is in London, it is one of the most expensive to attend and if you do decide to visit, whether as a buyer or seller, we strongly recommend you reserve your accommodation in London well in advance to avoid disappointment.

The 2008 World Travel Market in London will take place from 10 - 13 November.

Unlike in the past, the first day of the WTM is now only open to Exhibitors, Exhibitor Invitees, Ministers and Press. It is strictly by invitation only. The second day, 11 November, is open to Exhibitors, Exhibitor Invitees, Meridian Club members, Travel Trade professionals, Ministers and Press. The third and final fourth day adds students to the list. All visitors should pre-register. For those looking to attend who have not pre-registered a charge of GBP 295 will apply to those who qualify for Monday and GBP 49 for the remaining days.

The 2009 World Travel Market will take place from 9 - 12 November.
