The HD videos TravelNewsAsia.com features includes interviews with leading personalities within the travel industry, press conferences, events, travel trade show coverage, traveller's insights into destinations, visual guides to run along with reviews and other articles, stock footage, and of course, a few just for the sheer fun of it.
Most of the videos are serious, others less so, but we hope that the majority will be of use and/or interest to at least a few people.
If you do not wish to watch the video but would like to simply listen to the interview instead, then we offer podcasts as an alternative.
Jens Thraenhart, Executive Director of the Mekong Tourism Coordinating Office, used last week's ASEAN Tourism Forum in Chiang Mai to unveil details of the inaugural Mekong Mini Movie Festival. Mekong Minis is a short-film competition that aims to celebrate the rich travel diversity of the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS). It offers awards across several categories for the best movie submissions that capture the essence of GMS daily life and travel.
Malaysia is eyeing a total of 33.1 million tourists and RM134 billion receipts for 2018 on the back of new tourism developments expected for this year.
