All the below Thai public / national holidays refer to the year 2009, please note that some Government employees only holidays may not be listed below. See other countries National Holidays.

Generally people in Thailand do not work on Saturday and so planning meetings would generally revolve around week days.

It is advisable not to travel to Thailand for business purposes during Songkran, and we would recommend adding 5 - 10 days each side of this major Thai festival before making a business trip, and definitely reconfirm before travelling. From a leisure perspective Songkran is a sight to behold, and while not everyone's cup of tea it is definitely something which should be witnessed at least once, whether it is on the back of a tuk tuk or in an air-conditioned limo.
