All the below Thai public / national holidays refer to the year 2009, please note that some Government employees only holidays may not be listed below. See other countries National Holidays. Generally people in Thailand do not work on Saturday and so planning meetings would generally revolve around week days. It is advisable not to travel to Thailand for business purposes during Songkran, and we would recommend adding 5 - 10 days each side of this major Thai festival before making a business trip, and definitely reconfirm before travelling.
