China Southern Airlines has launched new Premium Business Class fares for travel from Melbourne or Sydney to Guangzhou, priced at A$5060, including taxes and valid through to 31 March 2010.

The airline’s Premium Business Class Cabin features 24 Minipod Sleeper seats, each 1.9 metres long and encased in a ‘privacy shell’, with a generous 58 inches of leg room and pull-out privacy dividers.

“We strive to set the standard in Business Class from Australia to and throughout China,” said James Liu, Regional Manager Australia for China Southern Airlines. “The emphasis is on a premium experience through quality service, cuisine and comfort.”

China Southern operates modern Airbus A330-200 aircraft from Australia, with Premium Business Class offering gourmet Cantonese cuisine served on white linen with fine china and a selection of wines, liqueurs, spirits and champagne.

The airline operates five weekly nonstop flights from Sydney to Guangzhou and three weekly one-stop services from Melbourne to Guangzhou.
