The Hilton Beijing Wangfujing has appointed Anthony Legaspi as Director of Business Development.

As a member of the hotel’s Executive pre-opening team, Legaspi will oversee the sales efforts for the 255 room property. Prior to joining Hilton Beijing Wangfujing, Anthony held the position of Director of Sales at the Pudong Shangri-La in Shanghai, where he provided leadership to a sales force of 30 professionals. In addition, he was responsible for securing nearly 240,000 room nights annually, one of the highest room night goals in the industry.

Legaspi is a graduate of De La Salle University Manila where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with an accounting major.

Scheduled to open on 28 July 2008, the Hilton Beijing Wangfujing has been designed as a chic and intimate, lifestyle hotel, featuring 255 guestrooms including 58 suites. The hotel will be housed in the Macau Center Complex, ideally located on Wangfujing Street, one of Beijing’s most prestigious addresses. The property provides easy access to the city’s prominent commercial and cultural centres, and is a short walk from many major tourist and shopping attractions.
