Thai Airways International has adjusted its fuel surcharge on its international and domestic flights. The adjustment in fuel surcharge will partly aid in balancing out increased fuel costs during the recent period, which has also been implemented by other airlines worldwide.

The company has adjusted its fuel surcharge for international and domestic flights, that is calculated on all classes of passenger travel on THAI flights and air tickets issued by THAI’s sales and ticketing offices worldwide, which is based on the policy agreed upon by the Civil Aviation Department for commercial airlines and includes agreements with other countries, as follows:

International Flights (unchanged):

Maintain an unchanged fuel surcharge rate of US$ 25 per sector, on the return route Bangkok-Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok-Hanoi, Bangkok-Vientiane, Bangkok-Phnom Penh, Bangkok-Penang, Bangkok-Rangoon, including the routes between Hong Kong-Taipei, Dubai-Kuwait, Karachi-Muscat, and Chiang Mai-Kunming. 

International Flights (increased):

Collect a fuel surcharge rate of US$ 45 per sector, on the return route Bangkok-Singapore,  Bangkok-Kunming, Bangkok-Chengdu, Bangkok-Guangzhou, Bangkok-Xiamen, Bangkok-Dhaka, Bangkok-Kolkata, Bangkok-Kathmandu, Bangkok-Colombo, Bangkok-Brunei, Bangkok-Hong Kong, Bangkok-Manila, Bangkok-Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok-Chittagong, including the routes between Hong Kong-Seoul, Taipei-Seoul, and Manila-Osaka.

Collect a fuel surcharge rate of US$ 50 per sector, on the return route Bangkok-Bangalore, Bangkok-Hyderabad, Bangkok-Chennai, Bangkok-Bodhgaya, Bangkok-Varanasi,  Bangkok-Jakarta, and Bangkok-Taipei.

Collect a fuel surcharge rate of US$ 65 per sector, on the return route Bangkok-Lahore, Bangkok-Karachi and Bangkok-Islamabad.

Collect a fuel surcharge rate of US$ 80 per sector, on the return route Bangkok-Delhi, Bangkok-Mumbai, Bangkok-Dubai, Bangkok-Seoul, Bangkok-Busan, Bangkok-Beijing, Bangkok-Shanghai, Bangkok-Denpasar, Bangkok-Tokyo, Bangkok-Osaka, Bangkok-Nagoya, Bangkok-Fukuoka, Bangkok-Kuwait, Bangkok-Muscat and Chennai-Dubai.

Collect a fuel surcharge rate of US$ 90 per sector, on the return route Bangkok-Perth.

Collect a fuel surcharge rate of US$ 110 per sector, on the return route Bangkok-Melbourne, Bangkok-Sydney and Bangkok-Sydney-Brisbane.

Collect a fuel surcharge rate of US$ 125 per sector, on the return route Bangkok-Auckland, Bangkok-Munich, Bangkok-Paris, Bangkok-Rome, Bangkok-Athens, Bangkok-Copenhagen, Bangkok-Stockholm, Bangkok-Zurich, Bangkok-Moscow, Bangkok-Johannesburg, Bangkok-London, Bangkok-Frankfurt and Bangkok-Madrid.

Collect a fuel surcharge rate of US$ 140 per sector, on the return route Bangkok-New York and Bangkok-Los Angeles.
