Scandinavian Airlines Thailand is offering a special roundtrip economy class fare to 23 Scandinavian and Northern Europe cities in seven countries for only 28,500 baht. The cities include the iconic, busy and popular capitals of Berlin, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Stockholm. Other culturally and historically significant cities served by the special fare include Aalborg, Aarhus, Billund, Gdansk, Gothenburg, Hannover, Hamburg, Jonkoping, Kalmar, Karup, Kristiansand, Linkoping, Marienlyst, Palanga, Ronneby, Bornholm, Sonderborg and Vaxjo. The countries covered are Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Lithuania and Poland. "Early summer in northern Europe is a joyous time," said Mr Hakan Olsson, Scandinavian Airlines Director and General Manager, Southeast Asia. "There are many festivals and celebrations. Outdoors it stays light until late in the evening." The Taste of Stockholm (with many outdoor food stalls) takes place June 4-8. On June 6 there is a steamboat parade from Stockholm to Vaxholm. Denmark celebrates constitution day with many parades and festivities on June 5. There are jazz, rock and classical music festivals in Copenhagen, Oslo and Bergen respectively. Across Northern Europe there are many festivities this time of year. Travel departures, from Bangkok, must be made before June 11, 2008. The fare of 28,500 baht excludes taxes and surcharges. Travellers must stay a minimum of five days. The special fare can be combined with other fares and service classes on the intercontinental portion of the trip.
