The Park Plaza Sukhumvit Bangkok has appointed Marco Seiler as its new General Manager.

Seiler has a decade of industry experience and takes up the post after six years with Thailand's Amari Hotels and Resorts. His most recent position was General Manager at Amari Nova Suites Pattaya and Nova Platinum Pattaya, where he was responsible for the successful opening of both properties. In his new role, Seiler will be in-charge of overseeing all operational, sales and marketing activities, as well as staff recruitment and training.

The 95-room Park Plaza Sukhumvit Bangkok, which is wholly managed by Carlson Hotels Worldwide - Asia Pacific, opened earlier this year and is located in the heart of the Sukhumvit district, the city's main lifestyle, entertainment and shopping area.
