Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels recently represented Beijing Capital Airport Tourism Co., (BCA) in the selection of an operating partner and the negotiations of a management agreement for its hotel located at the new Terminal 3 of the Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA). The five-star hotel will bear the flag of Langham Place, Beijing Capital Airport Hotel and is scheduled to start operations in July 2008. Conveniently located adjacent to the newly constructed Terminal 3, Langham Place Hotel is perfectly positioned for both transit and longer term guests. The

A subsidiary of Great Eagle Holdings, one of Hong Kong's leading property and hotel companies, Langham Hotels' portfolio comprises six properties with over 2,700 rooms in cities spanning four continents - Hong Kong, London, Boston, Melbourne, Auckland and Toronto. According to Chinese government officials, construction for Terminal 3 at the BCIA is progressing well and is on track to be operational in February 2008. Designed by the same architect who masterminded the Hong Kong International Airport, the new Terminal 3 will increase BCIA's capacity to handle 600,000 flights per annum, triple its current capacity of 200,000 flights. Passenger throughput capacity will expand to 82 million passengers annually, more than double the present 36 million.
