Singapore Airlines today starts its four times weekly B777 services to Hyderabad.

With the new service, Singapore Airlines will now fly to eight Indian destinations: Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi. This will bring to 47 the total number of non-stop weekly flights that Singapore Airlines operates to India. SilkAir, the regional wing of the Airline, operates a further 9 weekly services to Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.

Hyderabad, the capital city of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, is located almost in the middle of India. It is India’s fifth-largest city.

Steeped in history, and culture, this city offers the aesthetically inclined picturesque scenes and handicrafts such as glass embedded bangles and exquisite textiles.
