Feature Alerts Passengers to Departure and Arrival Times Via Wired Or
Wireless Devices
American Airlines now offers proactive notification of changes to flight
schedules or other flight information to AA.comŽ visitors through a
variety of wired and wireless devices. Delivered by voice message via
phone, or text message via e-mail, alphanumeric pager, text-enabled
wireless phone or personal digital assistant, the new flight status
notification feature provides current flight arrival and departure
times, as well as gate and baggage-claim location information.
To activate this notification service on AA.com, users simply choose
their preferred method of contact -- either phone or wireless device --
and enter the flight number they want to track. Users can specify a
notification time or indicate whether they prefer to be contacted only
in the event of a time or gate change or cancellation.
AAdvantage members will enjoy the added benefit of having all current
and past flight status notification requests automatically displayed
when they log in to AA.com with their AAdvantage number and PIN.
Notification requests for non-AAdvantage member users will not
automatically be displayed. To view their notification requests,
non-AAdvantage member users will enter the confirmation number received
when they signed up for flight status notification.

friends will benefit from the convenience of this notification feature,
American's latest personalization offering.''
The flight status notification feature was developed in conjunction with
Appriss Inc., an application services provider based in Louisville, Ky.,
and marchFIRST Inc., a global professional services company.
