Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Wednesday, 15 February 2012

[HD Video below] One of the main highlights of this year's Singapore Airshow - taking place at Changi Exhibition Centre between 14-19 February 2012 - is the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, ZA003, which is on the static display.

The new aircraft, which is already in operation with Japan's ANA, is something that has created a lot of interest at the Airshow, especially with media who were getting to know the new aircraft up close and personal for the very first time.

From an airline's perspective this new aircraft delivers an enhanced passenger experience and burns less fuel. From the passenger perspective the new technology delivers improved humidity, better cabin pressure and, according to Boeing at least, a smoother more comfortable ride.

Of course it is up to each airline what configuration they choose, the type of seats and inflight entertainment system etc. but the HD video below gives you an idea of what Boeing are promoting on this test aircraft.
