IHG Opens Global Sales Office in India

InterContinental Hotels Group has opened a Global Sales Office (GSO) in India. Located in New Delhi and Mumbai, the GSO will allow IHG to better serve its key clients in this fast growing market.

Chris Moloney, Chief Operating Officer, South West Asia, IHG said, “We are positioning ourselves for future growth in India and are making significant investments in people and facilities. The establishment of the GSO is a part of that strategy. By streamlining our sales office, we can better meet the needs of our customer’s, offer more customized stays and meetings options and drive great benefits to them by leveraging IHG’s system size.”

IHG currently operates 12 hotels in key Indian cities and has a development pipeline of 46 hotels in key business and leisure hubs. Overall, the company is on track to have a 150-hotel presence there by 2020.
