Luxury train operator Orient-Express is offering an ‘Asian Adventures’ promotion, featuring two complimentary nights throughout its bespoke collection of boutique hotels and resorts in Asia, when booking the Eastern & Oriental Express (E&O) for its ‘Classic Journey’ between Singapore and Bangkok or vice versa before 15 March 2011.

The Classic Journeys are a series of unique train voyages that travel through the exotic landscapes of Malaysia and Thailand and are priced from US$2,320 for Pullman Cabins to US$3,300 in a State Cabin and US$4,770 in a Presidential Suite.

The two-night Classic Journey from Singapore to Bangkok and three-night Classic Journey from Bangkok to Singapore relives the ‘golden age’ of travel and includes an extensive programme of exciting excursions, overnight off-train experiences and guest lecturers on board.

Highlights of the Classic Journeys between Singapore and the colourful city of Bangkok include a visit to the River Kwai Bridge station where guests disembark for a cruise on the river aboard a local raft and afterwards for a visit to the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, as well as a guided tour of colonial Georgetown on Penang Island.

With the ‘Asian Adventures’ promotion, guests who choose the Classic Journeys will have the opportunity to enjoy two complimentary nights at one of the following six Orient-Express destinations in Asia.

In Bali, these include Jimbaran Puri Bali and Ubud Hanging Gardens and in Cambodia the offer extends to the historic La Residence d'Angkor neighbouring world famous Angkor Wat in Siem Reap.

Alternatively, the offer also extends to Laos, at La Residence Phou Vao in Luang Prabang; to Myanmar and the iconic Governor's Residence in Yangon; or Thailand, at the exclusive Napasai resort in Koh Samui.

Exclusively for residents of Asia, the promotion is presenting vouchers for the two nights at any selected hotel or resort on receipt of full payment for Eastern & Oriental Express (E&O) adventures booked by 15 March 2011 and experienced before 25 October 2011. Vouchers can be redeemed directly with the selected hotel – for use in the six months following the date of booking.
