AirAsia, Official Partner of AT&T Williams team, is back again for the 2010 Formula One Season with contests which will run throughout the season, bringing lucky fans to Grand Prix race legs in Asia, Australia and Europe.

AirAsia is kicking off the season with the - AirAsia GP Challenge - an online contest set to go live on 9 March 2010, where winners clocking the fastest times can win Grandstand and pit passes to five Formula One circuits around the AirAsia Network – Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, London And Singapore.

AirAsia Regional Head of Branding, William Low said, “We are in our fourth year with AT&T Williams and this partnership has helped to define AirAsia as one of the most innovative airlines in the world. Our network has grown tremendously in each of those 3 seasons and now we’re proud to be able to fly our guests to five of the most exciting Formula One races around the world!”

The winner of the Melbourne GP leg will also be one of the first to experience the AirAsia X’s all-new premium ‘flat bed’ seats. The Premium flat bed seats feature improved legroom, universal power ports, full recline and built-in personal utilities.

AirAsia’s network of over 70 destinations has been connecting fans to the GP venues in Kuala Lumpur (Sepang), Singapore, China (Shanghai) Europe (Silverstone and Monza, via Stansted) and Australia (Melbourne.

Formed in 1977, AT&T Williams is one of the world’s leading Formula One teams with 16 FIA Formula One World Championship titles thus far. The AT&T Williams sponsorship is a part of AirAsia’s long term branding strategy to be a global brand.
