Elsie Boon joins Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket as Director of Event Sales

The Sheraton Grande Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort, Phuket has appointed Ms Elsie Boon as Director of Event Sales.

Based in Phuket, Elsie will oversee MICE and group markets as well as leading the Event Sales team for the resort.

Ms Boon is a dynamic individual that has over 13 years in the hospitality industry. Commencing her Starwood career in 1997, Elsie has held a number of key management and leadership roles within Starwood’s South East Asia, most recently holding the position of Director of Catering & Conventions for The Andaman, A Luxury Collection Resort, Langkawi in Malaysia.

“We are excited to have Elsie join the Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket team in the role of Director of Event Sales,” said Kylie Brajak, Director of Sales & Marketing for Sheraton Grande Laguna, A Luxury Collection Resort, Phuket. “Elsie has excelled within her career over the past 10 years and has extensive experience dealing with key clients and stakeholders in the MICE arena, making her the perfect person to lead the Sales efforts for our resort.”

Surrounded by lagoons and facing the Andaman Sea, the Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket offers a range of rooms and villas, eight dining and entertainment outlets and an abundance of recreational activities, including a 323m swimming pool and floodlit tennis courts.

The resort is around a twenty-minute drive from Phuket’s International Airport.
