Pan Pacific appoints Area Director of Marketing, Singapore

Pan Pacific Hotels Group has appointed Daniel Tan as Area Director of Marketing, Singapore.

In this newly-created role, Daniel will develop and lead the Area Marketing team for Pan Pacific Hotels Groups four properties in Singapore - Pan Pacific Singapore and Pan Pacific Orchard, as well as PARKROYAL on Beach Road and PARKROYAL on Kitchener Road. His responsibilities will include innovating marketing strategies to support the positioning of both Pan Pacific and PARKROYAL brands, optimising marketing investment and developing business partnerships that create value and ultimately, enhance both brands presence globally.

Daniel has eight years of marketing and business development experience in the travel industry and a successful track record in brand-building and revenue generation. His accomplishments have included setting up Valuair - subsequently becoming the airlines General Manager in Thailand and launching the first Citadines serviced residence in Asia.

 He has also headed Ascotts branding and marketing operations in China and has achieved important recognition for outstanding marketing and branding performance within Ascott, for his work in Thailand and China.

An avid traveller and photographer, Daniel speaks fluent Thai and is currently pursuing his executive MBA.
