ParkRoyal on Kitchener Road Offering Free Wi-Fi; Still Charging for LAN

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Wednesday, 25 August 2010

All hotel guests staying at ParkRoyal on Kitchener Road can now get ‘connected’ at no extra cost.

The hotel recently launched a new initiative to provide complimentary wireless internet access for all hotel guests staying in the hotel. So long as guests have their personal laptops or portable computers in their room, they can simply log on with their room numbers, to access the complimentary Wi-Fi provided.

Alternatively, and somewhat disappointingly, guests who require a more secure connection can pay a charge to use the hotel’s internet connection via the in-room LAN cable. Business guests staying in the hotel’s Orchid Club rooms can however enjoy the use of internet access via both Wi-Fi and LAN at no charge.

ParkRoyal on Kitchener Road is a 4-star 534-room hotel, well positioned within close proximity to Singapore’s Central Business District and main tourist attractions, towering over the vibrant ethnic quarter of Little India.
