Premier Group of Companies Appoints Chutima Ruangritrawee as MD of its Two Hotels

The Premier Group of Companies has appointed Khun Chutima Ruangritrawee as Managing Director of its two hotel properties; Rayavadee, Krabi, a five-star luxury beach resort and member of the Leading Hotels of the World and Tamarind Village Chiang Mai, a charming Lanna-style boutique property situated at the heart of Chiang Mais historic old town.

Ms. Chutima joins the company after three-years with the Six Senses Group as Resort Manager and then General Manager for their latest project, the exclusive Soneva Kiri, Koh Kood. During her tenure, Chutima ably steered the pre-opening operations and development of the resort which now boasts some of the most expensive per accommodation development costs. She also served as Acting General Manager for a short stint at the groups Vatulele Resort in Fiji.

Chutima is an hospitality veteran bringing over 15 years of experience in luxury hotels and resorts to her new role. She began her career in 1994 with the Four Seasons Bangkok where she rose from Director of Catering and Conference Services to head the hotels Food & Beverage operations. In 2005, she joined the pre-opening team of AKA Resort, a design property set in the hills above Hua Hin as General Manager, where she also gained valuable experience in the complexities of pre-openings.

Chutimas recent appointment marks a return for her to Rayavadee. Her experience with the resort dates back to 2004 when she joined Rayavadee as Executive Assistant Manager, overseeing the resorts Food & Beverage, Activities and Spa operations.
