On 29 September 2010, Silversea Cruises’ stylish, all-suite ship, Silver Shadow will return to Asian waters marking the start of its winter season through the Far East and South Pacific.

 Silver shadow will operate seven voyages showcasing the region’s most awe inspiring and beautiful sites. All-inclusive fares for these popular journeys will start from US$4,857.

- On 10 October 2010, Silver Shadow will sail off from Shanghai headed for the bright lights of Hong Kong on a 9-day journey (v.3028). Stopping in Seoul and Cheju in South Korea, Shadow will also dock at Naha, Okinawa in Japan and Keelung in Taiwan offering guests plenty of opportunities to explore the local areas, even enjoying a traditional Japanese tea ceremony en route. Prices start from US$ 6,147.

- Meandering the many beautiful islands of Vietnam, Silver Shadow sets sail on 19 October on a 10-day voyage from Hong Kong to Bangkok (v.3029) calling first at Haiphong in Hanoi then onward to picture-perfect Ha Long Bay. Whilst there, guests will be invited to board a traditional Vietnamese junk boat and explore the enchanted landscape of three-thousand jade islets raising from the waters whilst sipping champagne, before hopping back on the ship and sailing on to Hi Chi Minh City for a day and overnight stop, before arriving in Bangkok for their onward travel. Prices start from US$6,697.

- Bangkok to Singapore (v.3030) leaves on 29 October and is an 8-day journey through some of Asia’s most relaxing and exciting destinations – Ko Samui in Thailand, Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam and Kuching in Malaysia. Guests can choose to bask on Samui’s many beautiful beaches, sample local Thai cuisine or explore the bustling markets full of colorful art and local artifacts. Prices will start from US$4,857.

- A round-trip journey to and from Hong Kong is Silver Shadow’s next journey from 16 November – 26 November (v. 3032). Circling the Southern part of China guests onboard will enjoy visits to Xiamen and then Shanghai in China before sailing northward to Naha Okinawa in Japan, Keelung in Taiwan and Kaosiung in China on the return leg of the voyage. Prices from US$5,712.

- Hong Kong to Singapore (v.3033) departs 26 November and sails through Vietnam, stopping at Haiphong in Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Da Nang, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh city before alighting in Singapore on 6 December. Prices from US$5,358.

- Moving south into Australian territory, Voyage 3034 travels from Singapore to Sydney on a 15-day adventure. Setting sail on 6 December, guests can sit back and watch the world go by as she cruises down to Darwin, Australia, first calling at Bali in Indonesia. On from Darwin, guests aboard Silver Shadow will spend an afternoon at Thursday Island in Australia, a day in Cairns on the Gold Coast and an afternoon at the tranquil Whitsunday islands before stopping for a day in Brisbane and sailing onward to Sydney. Prices from US$5,757.

- Sydney to Auckland (v.3035) is Silver Shadow’s final voyage in the Far East and South pacific calendar for 2010 and departs and alights on 21 December 2010 – 4 January 2011. Christmas eve in Melbourne, guests will rejoin the ship and enjoy Christmas day onboard Shadow with gourmet dining and festive entertainment before arriving in Hobart on Boxing day. From here, Silver Shadow will call at Dunedin and Christchurch where guests will enjoy a tea party, Maori entertainers and punting down the Avon River in a boat guided by an Edwardian punter - before sailing onward to Wellington, Napier and Tauranga - and finally Auckland. Prices from US$ 8,187.

The Voyages which range from 8 to 15 days can also be extended by taking up one or more of Silversea’s Silver Shore Land Adventure Programmes; multi-day excursions to must-see destinations during the cruise including visits to Angkor Wat and Beijing’s Great Wall of China. Pre / post adventures of up to six nights include a romantic train journey on the legendary Eastern & Oriental Express, and journeys of discovery into Thailand visiting temples, royal palaces, ancient ruins and world heritage sites.

Silversea’s fares includes all-suite accommodation; gourmet meals, complimentary wines, Champagne and spirits, all gratuities, exciting excursions and onboard enrichment activities.
