Industrial Action Causes Air France to Reduce Flights

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Tuesday, 23 February 2010

Industrial action by air traffic controllers in France scheduled for Tuesday 23 to Friday 26 February 2010 included has forced the French Civil Aviation Authority to reduce the number of flights for all airlines during this period.

Due to this situation, Air France has scheduled to operate:

- 100 % of its long-haul flights over these four days,

For the 23 and 24 February:

- 75% of its short- and medium-haul flights at Paris-Charles de Gaulle,
- 50% of its short- and medium-haul flights at Paris-Orly.

Traffic forecasts for Thursday 25 and Friday 26 February are still to be confirmed.

Air Frances staff at the airport and customer service departments are ready to inform customers in the event of a flight cancellation, and if necessary, offer an alternative solution either on Air France, or KLM via Amsterdam or with one of the SkyTeam alliance partner airlines.
