Playboy Club Macau to Hold ‘Bunny Hunt’ in October

With the Playboy Club Macau scheduled to open later this year, Playboy is recruiting Playboy Club Bunnies and will hold a ‘Bunny Hunt’ event on Friday, 15 October 2010.

The Playboy Club Macau Bunny Hunt will recruit potential Playboy Bunnies from around the world to host Playboy Club members and high rollers.

The Playboy Club Macau Bunny Hunt will be held at Sands Macau Hotel, 6th floor from 10:00pm until 11:30pm. In addition, a special Bunny Hunt Pool Party will be open till late.

The Bunny Hunt itself is a fun and glamorous affair, where Bunny hopefuls will have the chance to strut their stuff on the catwalk, pose for paparazzi and chat with media, invited guests and the judging panel, comprising of Playboy representatives, experienced Playboy Club Bunnies and local Macau celebrities. Those girls that the judges deem have what it takes to join the privileged Bunny ranks will be invited back and further considered for a future position as a Playboy Club Bunny.

“We are looking for beautiful, intelligent and engaging girls with lots of personality, energy and style – and who demonstrate real desire to be considered for the coveted position of Playboy Club Bunny,” said guest judge and Macau personality Reggie Martin. “The chosen Bunnies will be offered a unique opportunity to be part of one of the world’s most recognized brands when it arrives in Macau, the entertainment capital of Asia.”

The Playboy Bunny with her satin corset, Bunny ears, collar, cuffs and cottontail has become a global icon of beauty, charm and fun. First created by Playboy visionary Hugh Hefner in 1960, approximately 25,000 Bunnies have been employed in Playboy Clubs worldwide in the past 50 years. Famous actresses Lauren Hutton, Lynne Moody, Sherilyn Fenn and rock star Blondie (Deborah Harry) all worked as Playboy Club Bunnies. Recently at the Playboy Club 50th anniversary Party which was held at Sands Macau in June, Celebrities like famous HK model Elizabete Kwong and Miss Macau runner-up Sarah Leyshan also were invited as Celebrity Bunnies.

To achieve the coveted position of Playboy Club Bunny, applicants must undertake a strict audition and training process before officially becoming a Playboy brand ambassador. Playboy maintains high standards of etiquette, behaviour and dress code, right down to each Bunny’s manicures, make-up and mannerisms.

“A Playboy Bunny should always carry herself gracefully, be camera ready and provide smiling and stylised service,” said guest judge Reggie Martin. “Playboy Bunnies are recognized as truly polished professionals and representatives of one of the world’s most well-known brands.”
