Hilton Hotels has partnered with Paramount Pictures for its latest Hollywood blockbuster, Up In The Air, a compelling story set within a world of frequent travelers. From Oscar nominated director Jason Reitman, Up In The Air will arrive in theatres across Asia this March, with the Singapore premiere slated for 4 March 2010.

Starring Academy Award winner, George Clooney, Up In The Air is about a frequent business traveler whose life on the road is threatened just as he is on the cusp of reaching ten million frequent flyer miles and after meeting the frequent traveler woman of his dreams.

“Up in the Air is a compelling story set within the world of frequent travelers,” said Dave Horton – Global Head, Hilton Hotels. “It is a true compliment to see Hilton represent the hospitality industry in this film and we are excited to give our guests opportunities to experience the amenities that these characters and other travelers value from our hotels.”

Scenes of the film were shot at multiple Hilton Hotels and signature Hilton products and amenities were used throughout. Props designed for the movie included a Hilton HHonors Diamond VIP card made for George Clooney’s character, Ryan Bingham.

For the past 60 years, Hilton has played a significant role in Hollywood films. Producers started rolling film at Hilton hotels during Hollywood’s Golden Age of the 1950s. Decades later, Hilton properties still set the stage for some of the most memorable moments in film, with highlights including Blue Hawaii, Diamonds Are Forever, Goldeneye, and Spiderman III.
