Hotel Representation Australia has signed The Wilderness Lodge in New Zealand.

 “This is the ultimate natural getaway, be it shooting, fishing, trekking or solitude, there really isn’t anything quite like it” said HRA’s Managing Director, Craig Davies.

Located in the New Plymouth region of New Zealand’s North Island the property encompasses 20,000 acres of remote wilderness covered in temperate New Zealand rainforest with hundreds of acres of mature Rimu Conifer Forests. Adjoining 1,000,000 acres of pristine National Park with abundant New Zealand flora and fauna.

Introduced (feral) animals roam the property including fallow deer, wild pig, wild goats, wild merino sheep, wild turkeys, pheasants and many more that can be hunted all year round. Trophy-head animals can also be found.

Accommodation consists of three self-contained well appointed eco-friendly lodges that have all been built using no chemicals or preservatives in the timber, sheep’s wool has been used for insulation and water supply to the lodges is from natural and pure underground springs. Where telecommunications are not available because of remoteness, satellite telephones are installed.

All food is organic - 3 organic gardens are maintained on the property - and a qualified chef prepares all meals. The Lodge is all inclusive of food and board with award winning wines and beers. A private Helicopter is owned and operated by the property and is at the guests disposal.

Guests at the Lodge can visit and partake in any of the following activities:

• Guided Hunting - with firearm instruction in safety and use provided by a professional hunting guide;
• Horse riding tours (guided);
• Hunting with a camera (guided);
• Trekking (guided);
• Fly-fishing;
• Snow Skiing (Seasonal);
• Tailored or conventional sight-seeing packages throughout New Zealand;
• Golf tours with helicopter transfers.
