The five-star 86-room Oyster Box Hotel in Durban, a member of Luxury Hotels by Dnata, has launched a Stay 4, Pay 3 special promotion.

Valid until 31 October 2010, the Stay 4, Pay 3 package starts from AED 3,300 per person, based on double occupancy in a Classic room and includes 4 night's accommodation, daily breakfast, airport transfers, taxes and service charge.

The offer excludes stays during the FIFA World Cup (6 June - 13 July 2010), and cannot be combined with any other special discounts.

A member of The Red Carnation Hotels, The Oyster Box opened in 1947, and underwent a major two-year rebuilding program which was completed in October 2009.

With sweeping views of the Indian Ocean, the spa resort is situated on Umhlanga’s beachfront, and near Durban airport.

The hotel also has an exotic three-night big game safari promotion. Safaris for Africa has created an exciting safari package in the northern part of KwaZulu Natal, an eco region with mountains, grasslands, wetlands and valley bush land. Visitors can observe birdlife (more than 400 species), wildlife (lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena). A highlight is a two-hour cruise through the St Lucia Wetlands Park, a World Heritage Site, to see antelope, crocodiles, hippos, a variety of birds and fish.

The Safari package includes three nights at the five-star Private Game Lodge (luxury tented accommodations), transfer from the Oyster Box via an air-conditioned luxury vehicle, all meals (breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner with house wine), services of a certified guide/driver, a specialist wildlife guide, game drives in an open vehicle, Zulu dancing and a Boma dinner, a boat cruise on the St. Lucia estuary, all entrance fees and airport transfers.

Price is AED 5,763 per person, based on sharing a double room, from 1 May to 7 June. Rates from 14 July to 30 September are AED 3,213 per person, double occupancy.
