New Vice Presidents @ GTA by Travelport

GTA by Travelport has appointed Daryl Lee as the company’s Vice President of Asia and Martin Jones as Vice President of Hotel Contracting, Asia Pacific.

Daryl’s appointment is effective from 21 September 2010 and he will be based in GTA’s offices in Singapore reporting directly to John Guscic, Chief Commercial Officer of GTA.

Prior to his appointment, Daryl held senior leadership roles for the Far East Organisation, Singapore Airlines and Trade Winds Tour and Travel.

Martin’s appointment is with immediate effect and he will report directly to David Painter, the company’s Chief Operating Officer.

Martin has been with GTA for over 15 years and has a wealth of hotel contracting leadership experience, primarily focused on the EMEA region. Initially operating from London, he will be based in Singapore by the end of 2010.

Commenting on the appointments, Ken Esterow, CEO of GTA by Travelport, said, “I am delighted to welcome Daryl to this new role within the company and to congratulate Martin on his promotion. This is an exciting time for GTA especially in Asia Pacific and I look forward to us taking the business forward together.”
