Visa has put together a line-up of sports travel deals for dedicated sports fans who want to live the action and enjoy a taste of professional sporting life.

Visa premium cardholders in Asia Pacific can choose from a range of Visa 2010 Premium Access tennis, motor sports and golf travel packages, which provide not only special access to world-class sporting events and venues, but also instruction from renowned coaches.

James Lim, Head of Consumer Credit and Affluent Products, International, Visa said, “Visa Premium cardholders are always on the lookout for extraordinary travel experiences. Our collaboration with Quintessentially Escape enables us to offer unique opportunities to get out of the spectator seat and into the action.”

Visa Premium cardholders can learn to serve and volley from top tennis coaches at some of London’s most prestigious tennis venues such as Queen’s Park, The Roehampton Club or Stoke Park. Special arrangements can even be made for Visa Premium cardholders to pick up tips from former international players. Getting prime center court seats for the Grand Slam tennis at Wimbledon is also possible through a special VIP package which also includes access to the players’ lounge and hospitality area after the match.

For a dose of heart-racing action, cardholders can learn to master the turns at the demanding Shanghai International Formula One circuit. The three-hour lesson will help race car enthusiasts gain confidence in their driving skills and improve their time with each lap around the track. Formula One fanatics can also choose the ultimate Ferrari escape to Milan where they can cruise around behind the wheel of a Ferrari F-430, and go on a private tour of the famed Galleria Ferrari to uncover the brand’s history and admire the prized trophies won by Ferrari race-cars.

Golf enthusiasts looking to lower their handicap can do so under the personal guidance of top golf instructor, Cindy Reid, at the famous Mission Hills Club in Shenzhen. Lessons can be conducted at any of the club’s twelve golf courses designed by golfing greats like Ernie Els and Annika Sorenstam.

Cardholders who sign up for these sports travel packages can also look forward to some luxury pampering. The perks include spa treatments, gourmet lunches and access to invitation-only parties.
