Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Wednesday, 4 February 2009

The Chaophya Park has added 5 new function rooms to its purpose designed meeting centre located just off the hotel’s lobby.

Remarking on this new development Andrew Wood the Hotel’s General Manager, said, “ It became evident that the local conference & banquet and MICE market along with our Thai Wedding market, were resilient to outside global factors. In fact this business actually grew for Chaophya Park Hotel & Resorts in the 4Q of last year.”

“This year we expect local MICE business to expand by at least 15% throughout 2009 and we are making plans to meet this demand.” Mr. Wood added.

The Chaophya Park Hotel's 13 stylish meeting and banquet rooms including our 400-square-metre Grand Ballroom, can accommodate events of any size and scale from 10 – 800 people.

The Wi-Fi connected rooms are well equipped with the state-of-the-art audio and visual facilities quintessential for high powered business and social events.

Prices are affordable too, with a typical Chinese Banquet at the Chaophya Park Hotel costing less than Bt 650 (US $19) per person or a Thai Buffet Menu from Bt 500 (US $14) per person.

The Chaophya Park Hotel is a 402 bedroom hotel on Rachadapisek Road, just 10 minutes from Sukhumvit Road. Getting around town on business or to simply shop couldn't be easier with the MRTA subway (linking to the skytrain) just a few minutes walk from the hotel's entrance.

The hotel boasts a full length golf driving range with 45 tee off positions; a massage centre; Bali Spa and fully fitted fitness centre and outdoor pool. The hotel was one of the first in Thailand to offer complimentary WiFi and internet access in guest rooms and all public areas. There is also parking for 900 cars.
