Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts and Parkroyal Hotels & Resorts have opened a Global Sales Office in Sydney, Australia. This is the sixth Global Sales Office for Pan Pacific and Parkroyal and is part of the strategy to expand the brands' customer relationships across key source markets.

The establishment of this office marks the start of the joint sales and marketing efforts of both brands in Australia, in line with the newly integrated brand management framework of Hotel Plaza Group, which now owns and manages these two well-established brands.

This new office will give the group the opportunity to promote Pan Pacific and Parkroyal hotels, resorts and serviced residences to Australasia travellers and to identify new business opportunities in this important source market.

The Global Sales office in Australia is based in Sydney and is headed by newly appointed Louise Barker as Global Director of Sales, Australia.

With more than 15 years of hospitality background with multi-branded hospitality chains, Louise will manage the development and execution of a strategic sales plan across Australia to promote both Pan Pacific and Parkroyal. She will also oversee the management of global corporate accounts in Australia and the expansion of the corporate and leisure segments while building win-win relationships with key business partners.

"Pan Pacific and Parkroyal are actively expanding in Asia Pacific with Australia being an important source market. The Global Sales Office in Australia has a significant role in showcasing the unique proposition offered by our brands and creating reasons for travellers to stay at our hotels, resorts and serviced residences. Sydney is a natural choice for our sales operations in Australia as it is an international business gateway and a key centre of commerce in Australia. Like its sister offices around the world, the new sales office will allow us to better support global customers at a local level and extend our reach into critical markets," said Christina Chua, Vice President, Sales for both Pan Pacific and Parkroyal brands.

Currently, Pan Pacific and Parkroyal have five other Global Sales Offices in Hong Kong, London, Singapore, San Francisco and Tokyo.
