Tom Racette has joined HotelTravel.com as Chief
Communications Officer, based at the company’s corporate headquarters in
Phuket, Thailand.
Tom has over 20 years experience in Asia with a diverse
professional background in journalism, advertising and public relations.
He joins HotelTravel.com from Paris-based Accor Hospitality,
where he was Director PR & Communications – Asia since 2001 and
responsible for a network of over 120 hotels in 12 countries.
Tom
is also an experienced journalist and editor. Prior to joining Accor he was the Bangkok Bureau Chief for TTG
Asia for 7 years, responsible for covering Thailand, Laos, Cambodia,
Vietnam and Myanmar. In 1998, London-based UN Miller Freeman appointed
him Managing Editor of PATA Compass when the publication was re-launched
in 1998.
