Klaus Rauter joins Andara Phuket as General Manager

The Andara Resort Residences in Phuket, scheduled to open later this year, has appointed experienced hotelier Mr. Klaus R. Rauter as General Manager. He will oversee both Andara Villa Management and Andara Residences.

Klaus, an Austrian national has extensive experience in hotel management in Thailand and throughout Asia.

Previous employers include Banyan Tree Phuket, Six Senses and Astudo Hotels & Resorts where he was responsible for pre-opening and opening of over 8 well known and market-leading resorts.

Andara Resort & Residences will offer 26 luxury villas with private chef, maid and villa attendant, and 37 residence apartments.

The villas project will be ready from April 2009 and the residence apartments with all resort facilities by November 2009.

Andara is set on a hill rising gently from the Andaman sea at Kamala Beach on the upscale west coast of Phuket offering unrestricted ocean views from each unit.
