Wataniya Airlines to Launch Flights to Jeddah

Kuwait’s Wataniya Airways is planning to launch daily scheduled flights to the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.

Chairman and Managing Director of Wataniya Airways, Mr. Abdulsalam Al Bahar, said that proceedings for this new route were going ahead as planned and that the airline is expecting formal confirmation from the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority imminently.

The airline is planning to begin two-class operations to Jeddah just in time for the holy month of Ramadan starting 19 August 2009.

Wataniya Airways has just opened a new sales office in the heart of Kuwait at the Discovery Mall. It provides Wataniya Airways’ passengers with full ticketing services and increases the airlines’ ticketing locations to three; Wataniya Airways’ headquarters at Kuwait International Airport, and Sheikh Saad Terminal in addition to the latest Discovery Mall office.
