FCm Travel Solutions has appointed one of its most
dynamic young leaders, David Newington, as the new general manager for
FCm Singapore.
David will be the driving force behind FCm’s
long-term growth in this strategic market, with a strong focus on
FCm’s account management capabilities, sales, and the continuous
development of services.
David has an extensive background in business
development and account management. Immediately prior to his
appointment he was Director of Global Sales for FCm North America
and Business Development Manager for FCm’s USA West Coast
operation.
Since joining Flight Centre Limited (FCm’s
parent business) in 2001, he has won multiple company awards,
including the 2006 President’s Award for extraordinary
contribution to FCm North America.
David is a member of the Association of
Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE), and the Australian Chamber of
Commerce (AustCham) in Singapore. He has a Bachelor of Business,
majoring in International Business and Marketing, from the
Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.
