Thailand-based Absolute Resorts & Hotels has
appointed Mr Wanchat Pandonsuk (William) as its new Director of
Sales & Marketing. The appointment is effective 1 August 2009.
Based at Absolute Resorts & Hotels' sales
offices in Bangkok, Mr Wanchat will supervise all sales, marketing
and e-marketing activities for the group. He will also attend this
year's World Travel Mart in London and the
ITB Asia 2009
in Singapore.
Mr Wanchat currently works at
the Pavillion Samui Boutique Resort where he is
employed as Director of Sales and Marketing. Previously he worked
for the Dusit Princess Srinakarin in the same position. Other
positions held include that of Director of Sales and Marketing at
Best Western Thailand, Sales Manager at Century Park Hotel in
Bangkok, and Sales
& Marketing at Thavorn Beach Village in Phuket.
Absolute currently operates
three resorts, with two more in the pre-opening phase. A sixth
property is slated for soft opening in
2010 while the yoophuket project (Philippe Starck and team) is
expected to be completed sometime in 2011. The company today maintains sales offices in Bangkok, Phuket,
Australia and Russia.
