Thai Airways International to Launch Flights to Oslo, Norway

Thai Airways International is to launch five weekly direct flights on the route Bangkok – Oslo, utilizing Airbus A340-500 aircraft, from 15 June 2009.

To celebrate the launch a number of special promotions are made available, with special fares in Economy Class from25,805 Baht, Premium Economy from 57,695 Baht and Royal Silk Class from 100,645 Baht. These special fares are valid for tickets issued before 31 July 2009.

In addition, THAI’s Royal Orchid Plus is offering bonus mileage for members. Those traveling on THAI’s Royal Silk Class will earn double mileage while members traveling in Premium Class will earn 1.5 times of the actual miles.

There is also a mileage redemption promotion, in which members who redeem miles for Economy Class will be upgraded to Premium Class, and award redemption made in Premium Class will be upgraded to Royal Silk Class (Business Class). This promotion is valid until 31 August 2009.

Flights to Oslo will operate five days per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
