Hawaiian Airlines has launched a range of new fares from Australia to 10 US mainland destinations, via Hawaii, priced from A$1314 per person ex Sydney, including taxes.

The “Flyin to the USA” fares are available on flights to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, San Jose, Seattle, Sacramento, Oakland, Portland and Phoenix. Fares are also available from Melbourne and Brisbane from A$1464.

“Our new fares offer 10 mainland destinations and enable our passengers to include a bonus stopover in tropical Hawaii,” said Sherilyn Robinson, General Manager Sales and Marketing, Australia, for Hawaiian Airlines. “As well, travellers from Australia can choose to fly in to one mainland destination and return from another at no extra cost, a perfect option for those looking to do some exploring by road.”

The “Flyin to the USA” fares, in Economy Class, include taxes, meals, drinks and main-screen entertainment on Hawaiian’s flights between Sydney and Honolulu, plus passengers also receive a generous free luggage allowance of two checked items, each weighing up to 32 kilograms.

In addition to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Hawaiian Airlines also offers these fares from 17 other Australian cities:

• From A$1464 (including taxes) ex Gold Coast, Maroochydore, Canberra, Ballina, Hervey Bay, Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie.
• From A$1654 ex Albury, Adelaide, Hobart, Launceston, Cairns, Mackay, Proserpine, Rockhampton and Townsville.
• From A$1814 ex Perth.

The fares quoted are available for sale until 31 October 2009, for travel between 22 January - 25 March 2010, and again from 17 April until 30 June 2010. Seats are limited at these prices and some conditions apply.

Hawaiian Airlines flies nonstop from Sydney to Honolulu every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evening, with connections from throughout Australia with partner airlines.

Hawaiian flights depart Sydney at 9.20pm, crossing the international dateline and arriving at 11.10am the same day – a flight time of approximately 10 hours. The airline also offers convenient onward connections from Honolulu to 10 mainland destinations.

Passengers clear US Customs in Honolulu, eliminating any additional formalities after arrival on the mainland.
