Kapfenberger appointed GM of Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore

Mr. Heinrich L Kapfenberger has been appointed as General Manager of the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore. He joins the hotel from the Millennium Hotel & Resort, Stuttgart, where he served as General Manager.

A German citizen, Heinrich is a veteran hotelier with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. He has held appointments as General Manager with major international hotel chains in Germany, Nepal, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. Having been the General Manager of Orchard Hotel in Singapore from 1994 to 1997, and 1999 to 2001, Heinrich is no stranger to the company and Singapore.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer for Asia, he has overall responsibility for all facets of the hotel’s operations and spearhead the continued growth and development of the hotel’s business.
