Swiss-Belhotel International, headquartered in Hong Kong, has signed its seventh hotel in the Middle East region - the Swiss-Belhotel Al Qurm, Oman.

Located in Muscat, Swiss-Belhotel Al Qurm, Oman is a multi-purpose hotel complex comprising two towers. Tower 1 features a 179-room 4 star hotel, six food and beverage outlets, business centre, extensive conference and meetings facilities, while Tower 2 features 120 (one, two and three bedroom) residential apartments, 3 floors of commercial office space, spa and health club facilities including treatment rooms, indoor swimming pool, squash courts and gymnasium.

In addition, the twin tower complex is connected by a footbridge on the top floor and shares common facilities on the lower ground and mezzanine floors including a bowling alley, entertainment complex (including electronic state-of-art games and cinema), fast-food outlets, retail precinct, outdoor swimming pool and expansive landscaped gardens.

“Coming quickly on the heels of the acquisition of Sohar Beach by Swiss-Belhotel earlier this month, we are delighted to announce our second property in Oman, Swiss-Belhotel Al Qurm. We have an aggressive expansion plan in place for the group with particular emphasis on the Middle East region,” said Mr Gavin Faull, President, Swiss-Belhotel International.

The food and beverage outlets include a rooftop speciality restaurant and bar offering spectacular views, cigar lounge, lobby lounge, a Fusion restaurant of Asian/Arabic/Indian cuisines, and an all-day dining restaurant/coffee shop.

The meeting facilities feature a 1000 sqm Grand Ballroom which can accommodate up to 500 guests, a 400 sqm Junior Ballroom which can accommodate up to 200 guests, a variety of breakout and function rooms and an auditorium.
