Mandarin Oriental, Manila launches Special Meetings Package

With its Meet East package for either residential or daily meetings, the Mandarin Oriental, Manila is hoping to respond to the modern-day business demands of its customers.

A dedicated Function Host will tailor-make meetings to specific requirements and be on hand to assist with all business needs, from coordinating themed coffee breaks to arranging couriers. In addition, during site inspection visits, event organisers can enjoy a 20% discount on best available rates for a minimum two-night stay.

Room rates for a minimum of 15 rooms:

• Accommodation starting from PHP6,500 per night for a Superior Room, to PHP8,000 for a Business Room, for single or twin occupancy
• One upgrade to the next room category with a minimum of 15 rooms booked or to a suite with a minimum of 30 rooms booked
• One hour of complimentary in-room Internet usage daily for the organiser
• Welcome amenities for the organiser
• Unlimited use of the Health Club and swimming pool for resident guests
• Additional benefits for Business Room reservations include 20% discount on mobile phone rental (SIM card not included), photocopying in the hotel’s Business Centre and car hire services.

Daily Meeting Package at PHP1,800 per person for minimum of 15 people:

• Use of main meeting room from 9.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m.
• Morning and afternoon coffee breaks with assorted sweet and savoury delicacies
• Lunch, including healthy menu options
• Complimentary use of LCD projector, overhead projector, podium and microphone
• Meeting stationery comprising white board, flip chart, markers and office supplies
• 50% discount in the Business Centre for photocopying and binding services

The elegant ballroom with adjustable wall panelling caters for events from banquets of 500 to cocktail receptions of 1,000 guests, whilst the exquisitely furnished third-floor rooms – Fontaine, Nash, Adam and Blondel – are ideal venues for smaller meetings of 30 to 70 people. The Mahogany, Narra, Palm, Cypress, Molave, Acacia, Ipil, Kamagong and Tanguile rooms on the fourth floor offer the convenience of an intimate conference lounge The 18th floor the Macopa room, which features natural daylight and a city view, can seat up to 70 people.

The Meet East package is valid from 1 June until 31 December 2008, applicable to groups occupying 15 guestrooms or more and meeting groups of 15 people or more, respectively, and is subject to availability. A 10% service charge applies to quoted rates plus 12.6% government tax on rooms.
