Hilton Petaling Jaya launches MICE Package

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Friday, 4 April 2008

The Hilton Petaling Jaya, a 5-star hotel just 15 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur, has launched a MICE package which starts from US$560 per person for 3 days/2 nights, valid until end of 2008 for 40 guests and above.

One of the highlights of the package is the themed poolside dinner with live music and themed gifts and evening activities such as palm/tarot reading, henna session and “how to mix cocktails” can be arranged. Other offers include themed breakfast and lunch, complimentary drinks at Uncle Chilli’s Bar & Club, welcome gifts, afternoon activities and more.

“Petaling Jaya may not be as famous as its neighbour, but those in the know, realize PJ is in a strategic location between two major business districts,” said Markus Kaliss, Hilton Petaling Jaya’s Director of Business Development.

“People often think of meetings as boring and all the same, so we have created a meeting-friendly environment with a range of facilities, personalized service and top-quality catering to ensure the meetings we host are unique, productive and enjoyable for delegates,” said Mr Kaliss.

All the hotel’s meeting rooms are intended for multi-purpose use and can accommodate a variety of set-ups. Each room has an individually controlled air-conditioning system, ergonomic furniture, wireless broadband access, credenza and mini bar for much-needed refreshments.

Most of the meeting rooms at the hotel are enhanced by large  windows and natural daylight but also have blackout curtains to ensure effective and focused presentations.

With a choice of 21 functions rooms featuring state-of-the-art equipment, Hilton Petaling Jaya provides a wide range of meeting venue options. The pillarless Kristal Ballroom caters for up to 700 people and is perfect for any MICE events, while the Rafflesia Suite is ideal for mid-sized conference and meetings for up to 40 people.
