New Corporate International Public Relations Manager at Dusit

Dusit International has appointed Ms. Chutimaporn Kasemsuk as its new Corporate International Public Relations Manager, responsible for the group's corporate PR plan and strategy, targeting international media across the region.

Ms. Jennifer Cronin, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Dusit International, commented on the appointment, “As we are now operating hotels in various parts including Dubai, Cairo, and Manila, with many more to come in the near future, the role of our corporate international PR manager will provide Dusit International with the platform to deliver its message as the company’s growth and development now accelerates. The interest from the media has been increasing rapidly as they see an internationally recognized Thai brand becomes a successful brand on the world stage.”

Prior to joining Dusit International, Ms. Chutimaporn gained a wide range of work experience and media connections, as a Public Relations Consultant for international clients at some of the world’s leading communications agencies – JWT PR (J. Walter Thompson), Weber Shandwick and McCann Worldgroup, where she was responsible for working with a range of clients to develop and implement communications strategies.

Before starting her PR career, Ms. Chutimaporn worked as a copywriter, and a writer for travel magazines, and as a TV presenter for a travel documentary, promoting Thailand’s tourism campaign, on Thai channel 7.

Ms. Chutimaporn earned her BA in Communications from Chulalongkorn University and MA (1st class honour) in International Communications from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. During her study years, Ms. Chutimaporn was an Executive Editor for university newspaper, Editor of Faculty’s magazine, and led the the PR team to promote Leeds Thai Student Society in the United Kingdom.
