FCm Travel Solutions forms Partnership with Afghanistan Travel Specialist

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Friday, 29 February 2008

FCm Travel Solutions has strengthened its presence in the Middle East following a new partnership with a leading travel company in Afghanistan, Anaar Travels. Established in 2004, Anaar Travels is part of the well established Anaar Group in Afghanistan.

Employing more than 20 people, the company provides one-stop procurement, transport and logistics services, while also offering specialist services in event management and the organisation of major business conferences and trade missions.

FCm Travel Solutions' general manager for the Middle East, Mr Rahul Nath, said the new partnership would enable FCm to service corporate clients in one of the key gateways to Central Asia.

"This partnership is a strategic move for FCm as we press ahead with the development of our networks in both the Middle East and Asia. Corporate travel needs in both these regions have grown substantially, so we are pleased to now have the capabilities to extend our service reach for clients.

"Dubai and Delhi are the two major gateways to Kabul in Afghanistan. They are both two hours' flying time from Kabul and offer a wide range of international connections and infrastructure for logistical support, for large organisations like the UN and other donors and corporates operating in Afghanistan.

Also, Afghanistan offers the potential to become the gateway to Central Asia because of its strategic location ie. the 'Silk Route'."

As part of the FCm network, the company will offer an extensive range of corporate travel and expense management services including personalised account management, 24/7 emergency support, travel policy development, management information systems and dedicated MICE services.
