Following on from Dusit International’s inaugural MICE Directory launched at the end of 2007, Dusit International has launched its first ever Meeting Planner Gift Collection rewards with special offers for meeting planners, including return airfares from Hong Kong and Singapore to Bangkok.

Dusit International's Senior Vice President, Mr Octavio Gamarra said, “The meetings, conventions and incentives market is a top priority for Dusit International in 2008 and we are putting much of our efforts into this key market segment. We have begun appointing Directors of Sales MICE in our dedicated MICE hotels to ensure we have savvy professionals who understand the specific needs of the Meeting Planner.”

“At the same time, we are introducing the “Meeting Centre” to our MICE properties, the first is proving a huge success at Dusit Thani Dubai ~ where a grouping of meeting rooms are serviced from one location with refreshments and all the business needs of the meeting groups. We believe the timing is right for Dusit International to be a serious player in the MICE industry.”
